We at Vehicle-Virgins™ are a dedicated group of college students here to help you make one of the most important decisions of your life: buying your first car. What sets us apart from other consumer review organizations is our perspective of review; we approach the cars as any kid would, not only as a professional automotive journalist would. We take into account real-world decision factors such as budget, reliability, safety, and maintenance, but we also rate cars on their appeal to a younger market. At 19 and 20 years old, we have spent lots of time looking for our first cars, and we know what appeals to us as well as our friends.

Our mission is to guide individuals in the right direction for their first car. Vehicle-Virgins reviews popular cars that young buyers are in the market for and helps them decide if the car they are looking at is a good choice.

We are lighthearted individuals who are passionate about cars and hope you find our reviews both informative and funny.

Cheers.

  1. Also, the used car section of big name dealership like Chevy, Ford, and Dodge in your area is my best way to get a nice used car at a good price. I then use ebay, Craigslist, etc. as a base for how much that particular ranges for in selling price and compare. Usually you want to buy a car that is not what they sell there new.
For Example: If you want a nice used mustang at a good price, it’s better to buy it at a Dodge Dealer or Chevy dealer (not a Ford dealer because of high prices) and while you’re there or even before check the range in price of what that particular vehicle is selling for on Craigslist, eBay etc. with similar options and miles. But let’s say for some reason you HATE buying used cars, the best way to get a new car at an insanely good price is September, October, December where you can get great deals on left over 2016 cars because they are already bringing in the 2017’s.
And if you for some reason want the newest car 2017 model, than the best way to save some money (while it’s slight but at least something) you want to buy your car towards the end of the month. Leave the dealer and comeback the next day and they’ll change the numbers a lot to try to sell you that car.
    Hope this helps!

  2. What advice would you have for adults (not young adults) that have never had a car before and are looking for buy their first car ?

  3. The main reason Beemers are so cheap to buy used is because of the repair cost of stuff that undoubtedly breaks on them. After about five years or so these cars can and do become serious money pits to keep on the road

  5. I know what I want (an E92 generation M3 coupe w/competition package and maybe some of the other tech), I just need to look for a job that uses my degree first…

  6. Go to jamesedition.com it sells new and used cars worldwide, but only for luxury market buyers. They also have the most exclusive things. This includes the sellers of Koenigsegg, Pagani, Aventador SVs, Bugattis, 675LTs, P1S, many LaFerraris, and loads of Porsche 918 Spyders. They have about 4000 cars for sale. Try there!
