  1. what about top 10 death counts via plausible estimation / offscreen / dead body piles? thinking this’d be mostly dominated by scifi space battles. starship troopers 1 is around 40? the Earth – Minbari war from B5. The genophage from mass effect is directly responsible for biological deaths of krogan for 700? years then all the litterally hundreds of over run planets by the reapers and thats just our cycle. i am legen has a listed death count of what? 99.7% ?

if we include none humans, i’d actually suggest aliens , hadleys had a population of 168, most of that was turned into xenomorphs, of those, all xenomorphs were killed, addtionaly the marines n face huggers, the queen, thats a fairly high death count of around 350ish?

  2. The Force Awakens takes the cake, the Star Killer took out 4 planets that probably had Billions on Billions on Billions of people killed.

  3. My favorite? Star Wars.Maybe not onscreen, but Alderaan supposedly had several billion inhabitants (this could well be number one on a “Most Evil Act in Cinema History” list. The novel Death Star had a whole chapter dedicated to the guy who pulled the trigger, and how wracked with guilt he was over the atrocity. Speaking of which, how many Imperials were killed during the Battle of Yavin? Well, it had two survivors total, Darth Vader being one of them. (Aside from a few Imperial defectors.) One count puts the number of Imperial casualties at two million. In addition, every X-Wing and Y-Wing pilot perished, (two survivors being Luke and Wedge). And that was small potatoes compared to the Battles of Hoth and Endor, which came later.
